Hard Bottom Snapper Trawl
A very versatile, high-opening bottom trawl used for catching Rockfish, Snapper, Mackerel, Pollock, and Whiting. Heavy footropes and rugged construction allow this net to be used in very demanding conditions. This net may be used with either bottom or midwater trawl doors to accommodate pelagic or semi-pelagic fishing conditions.
Features
- Three-bridle design for maximum vertical height.
- Cutaway lower wings allow fishing on rugged bottom conditions.
- Low-stretch, high-strength riblines support codend loads.
- Net may be fitted with varying footrope styles to "fine-tune" it to particular fish species and grounds.
